One of our regular customers asked us to do a rebuild of a Caterpillar 3512B Locomotive Engine.

 

We disassembled the complete engine and have cleaned and inspected all relevant parts.

We have changed:

  • Main bearings
  • Connection Rod bearings
  • Camshaft bearings
  • Bearings in front and rear gear groups
  • Cylinder heads : 20R-3545
  • Cylinder packs: 10R-4343
  • Injectors: 20R-1275
  • Vibration damper: OR-7848
  • Oil Cooler: OR-5519
  • All seals and gaskets

After the rebuild the engine had a testrun on a Caterpillar testbench. We painted it and delivered to our customer.

The customer asked us to paint it not in yellow, but pink! No problem!
